Mini Baccarat is a smaller and faster version of the traditional Baccarat game with the same rules. The game is based on two hands: the Banker Hand and the Player Hand, and you bet on which one will beat the other. You can also bet on a tie between two hands.

The round starts by the player placing a bet on the PLAYER or BANKER. The dealer then deals two face-up cards that make the Player hand and another two face-up cards that make the Banker hand.

The hands value totaled are compared, and depending on the totals, the Player hand may get a third card.

The number cards from 2 to 9 count as their face value, 10 to K count as zero, and Ace counts as 1. The hand is scored using the right digit of the total of the cards, so the score is always between 0 and 9.

For example if the hand is 4 and 9, the total is 13, and the score is 3.

A third card may or may not be dealt to the player and/or the dealer depending on the following rules:

• If the Player or Banker total at 8 or 9 they have to stand. This rule takes precedence over all other rules.
• If the Player hand is 5 or less it gets a third card.
• If the Player hand is 6 or 7 it stands, and if the Banker is 5 or less it gets a card.

The following chart shows what the Banker hand does in case the Player hand got a third card. S = Stand and H = Hit:

The Player and Banker final scores are compared, and the higher hand wins.

Payoffs

• A winning bet on the Player hand pay 1 to 1.
• A winning bet on the Banker hand pay 1 to 1 minus 5% vig. Winning Tie bets pay 8 to 1.
